Everyone has the innate capacity to heal from traumatic experiences.
TRE is a simple set of exercises to bring you into your body and create some tiredness in the muscles so that you can tap into neurogenic tremors, a natural releasing mechanism that all of us have but don’t know how to access.
TRE is a self help technique that allows the body to naturally tremor and to release held tension patterns of trauma. It is a way to regulate the nervous system, come out of the fight/flight/freeze response and relieve stress. It enables us to connect to our body in a safe way. We then begin to befriend the internal landscape of the body, enjoy body sensation and slow down the mind. The benefits of TRE are not just physical, we also experience positive lasting change in our behaviors and mental health from this practice.
TRE is about our health, creating a healthy nervous system that assists us in navigating difficult times. TRE is about recovering from habitual patterns of stress. TRE can bring a lot of lightness into the body.
